HIT ya LIKE a LYRICAL MURDERER

I know you think I have, but yo, I never heard of ya! The tree is up, the roses are on the table and party people in the place, it is time once again to get on down! Sometimes, one must wake up at 3am and watch a True Life marathon until 5am. It happens...especially if you're battling a cold like I am. It tried to make an appearance late Wednesday. Battling, battling, winning, losing, winning, losing. I'm sick, I'm not sick, I'm sick, I'm not sick...I'm sick. So annoying. Since I ran out of Jack Daniel's, I have resorted to Absolut New Orleans. Alcohol kills germs, right? I got'em. It snowed like a MUTHA this weekend, dumping a solid eight inches where I was at. Cuckoo for cocoa puffs. Ever watch that show Intervention on A&E? Brutal. Not always a happy ending. Same thing with some of those True Life episodes that they do. I can't believe it's December already. I can't believe I'm sick. I can't believe how lucky I am to have a fly little Puerto Rican from The Bronx to take care of me when I'm not feeling well. She cooks me amazing things too - blackened tofu, beans & rice, crazy silly good garlic bread, pasta, salad - she hooks it UP. I'm going to get her a cooking show. The F.L.P.R.F.T.B. Cooking Show. Coming soon. It's so freaking cold. Having not been home all weekend, I returned to my MEAT LOCKER of an apartment, switched on the heat, and quickly made my exit, going to get some gas (hate you George W) and some Taco Time. The veggie wrap is gone and yet...I crave more food. Didn't really eat today, not much of an appetite. Although let me assure you, I ate plenty yesterday. Appetites come and go. So do good hip hop posse cuts. When was the last time you heard a really, REALLY good one? Here's the last really good one I heard - Craig Mack featuring The Notorious B.I.G., Rampage, LL Cool J and Busta Rhymes. They put it DOWN on the Flava In Ya Ear remix. "Don't be mad, UPS is hiring". Deadly. I caught a video for a great posse cut tonight - DJ Khaled featuring Young Jeezy, Ludacris, Fat Joe, Rick Ross, Big Boi, Busta Rhymes, Lil Wayne and Birdman. While I'm not a fan of everyone on there, everybody put it DOWN - especially Luda, Big Boi and Busta - they tore it UP!! While I'm babbling about hip hop, new Scarface and Ghostface Killah albums are out this Tuesday. You can NOT go wrong with either one of those dudes. I've been listening to Scarface's "The Fix" album in anticipation of his new joint...and I can conclude that "The Fix" is now a top 20 of all time album for me. One of the most soulful hip hop albums ever - you FEEL it. Now me and my Absolut are gonna go chill and rest and kick this damn cold to the curb. You continue on, doing whatever it is you're doing. Oh, and make a note of it - stay fly - all day, every day.....
